The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History has created a do-it-yourself (DIY) exhibit called Outbreak, showing how diseases travel and how people around the world track down and respond to outbreaks. This colorful and interactive exhibit, which can be printed locally, contains 16 pre-designed panels with two customizable templates, along with audio/visual content and a resource guide. The exhibit shares important information about diseases and how a range of public health professionals prevent, detect, and respond to infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola virus, influenza, and the Zika virus.
The Public Affairs Section or the American Space will need to sign an already approved Memorandum of Agreement (PDF 379 KB) with the Smithsonian to display the exhibit. You can find instructions and more information on the exhibit here (Docx 1 MB).
