HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH 

Antonio Tijerino

Antonio Tijerino is the president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF), a nonprofit organization that works to increase the number of Latina and Latino leaders in the community, classroom, and workforce.  Under Tijerino’s leadership, HHF maintains a network of 150,000 Latinos aged 15-35 mobilized in areas such as STEM, tech, entrepreneurship, finance, and media.  Tijerino also is the executive producer of the Hispanic Heritage Awards, and has been recognized by the White House, U.S. Congress, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and the Government of Mexico.  He is fluent in Spanish.  Bio Video

Oscar Garcia

Oscar Garcia is founder and chief empowerment officer at Aspira, a Silicon Valley training and consulting firm focused on brand, business, and marketing consulting as well as career development coaching.  He is also a professional speaker on professional branding, LinkedIn training, authentic leadership, and career development.  Previously, Garcia was a consultant at LinkedIn and president and CEO of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.  He is fluent in Spanish.   Bio Video

Cristina Pereyra-Alvarez

Cristina Pereyra-Alvarez is a retired judge from Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit and a mediator and arbitrator with JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution services worldwide. She is also Univision’s in-house legal correspondent.  Previously, she presided over the first national Spanish language court reality program “Veredicto Final” (Final Verdict).  She is fluent in Spanish.Bio Video

Israel Reyes

Israel Reyes is the founder and managing partner of The Reyes Law Firm, where he handles civil and criminal litigation representing attorneys, receivers, commercial entities, and individuals.  Reyes is also an attorney’s fees expert, arbitrator, mediator, insurance umpire, police legal advisor, and Special Magistrate.  Previously, he was a circuit court judge with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.  Reyes is fluent in Spanish.  Bio
